Blade Tech and 5 Shot Leather Holsters

I have used Blade Tech holsters (http://www.blade-tech.com/) for the past several years. They retain the sidearm well and are minimalistic. I had to be dragged from my long association with leather scabbards. There is still something about my Milt Sparks leather rigs (http://www.miltsparks.com/) that draw me back. Polymer guns and plastic holsters....I never thought the day would come. The speed of the Blade Tech holster is fractionally greater for me than the leather, but for all day comfort I still like the feel of the leather rig.
With regard to leather holsters, Clint Smith introduced me at the Shot Show to John Ralston of 5 Shot Leather (http://www.5shotleather.com/). I have ordered several rigs from John and all are superbly built and function flawlessly. His ankle holster is the finest I have ever used. My main shooting buddy, Dave Liniger, is a long time shooter and marksman. He agrees that it is the best ankle holster built today. He tried out many options before settling on the 5 Shot Leather piece.
