South African Hunt at eZulu Safaris

We just returned from a brief but fulfilling hunt at the impressive eZulu game preserve north of Port Elizabeth South Africa. Chris Dorsey at Orion Multimedia took Dave Fisher and me to film a plains game hunt for the TV series Ruger Adventures to air next fall on Versus Channel. The program is sponsored by Ruger, Hornady Ammunition and Burris Optics. My goal was to take a record book Gemsbok and Springbok.

The experience at eZulu did not disappoint. I have never before seen the large numbers of Gemsbok that inhabit the huge eZulu property.

The accommodations are first class. The Professional Hunters, staff and trackers are some of the finest folks I have ever met. We hunted mainly with Rudy and Jonathon who gave us several great stalks on large groups of Gemsbok and other plains game.

Carol and Meggan made us feel at home and went out of their way to assist us with internet connections (internet in Africa!!??...yes indeed). Meggan became a huntress during our visit and we hope to have some photos of her later.
